At the end of an apprenticeship, the apprentice will go through a ‘gateway’ process where they are signed-off by their employer as ready for a final assessment of their knowledge and practical capabilities.
The assessment will be graded (in most cases) and the Independent Assessment Organisation (IAO) and assessor must be independent of, and separate from, the training provider and employer.
Government legislation states that EPA must be delivered by a separate body to the employer and training provider.
We have a team of highly-qualified and experienced assessors offering EPA.
We are a registered End Point Assessment organisation for the following qualifications and we assure that that EPA’s are valid and reliable:
I would like to say what a positive, supportive experience this has been.
The information given by Qualitrain has been clear and concise with any questions or issues resolved quickly. We had a good overview of the End Point Assessment before the visit and this was reinforced on the day, putting everyone at ease.
The apprentices noted that Qualitrain were unobtrusive during the observation and that they enjoyed the experience. They also said that Qualitrain encouraged them to exhibit their knowledge and understanding of Lean Manufacturing Operations during the professional discussion and could reassure future apprentices that there was nothing to worry about when it is their turn.
Overall this has been an extremely positive experience and I would highly recommend Qualitrain's services to all employers, colleges and providers.

We echo Dave's sentiments and would like to thank Qualitrain for their support and guidance whilst on site.
