EPA

End Point Assessment (EPA) for Lean Manufacturing Operative Level 2 is the final assessment for an apprentice to ensure that they can do the job they have been training for.

End Point Assessment (EPA) is separate to any qualifications or other assessments that the apprentice may undertake during the on‑programme stage of the apprenticeship.

At the end of a Lean Manufacturing Operative Level 2 apprenticeship, the apprentice will go through a ‘gateway’ process where they are signed-off by their employer as ready for a final assessment of their knowledge and practical capabilities.

The assessment will be graded (in most cases) and the Independent Assessment Organisation (IAO) and assessor must be independent of, and separate from, the training provider and employer.

How can we help?

Government legislation states that EPA must be delivered by a separate body to the employer and training provider.

We have a team of highly-qualified and experienced assessors offering EPA.

We are a registered End Point Assessment organisation and we assure that that EPA’s are valid and reliable.
