The Improvement Technician will require a range of skills to help communicate the improvement projects to team members and stakeholders. They must be mindful of the effects of change upon a team and have coping strategies for various scenarios. Qualitrain’s team are very experienced in dealing with managing lean and six sigma improvement projects and can gently guide staff through some of the obstacles that they will inevitably face and help provide the essential soft skills for successful project implementation.
Lean and six sigma methodologies will be covered throughout the training providing the student with sufficient knowledge of appropriate lean tools. Qualitrain are happy to reinforce existing organisational preferences for identifying waste and following good workplace organisational practices, sometimes referred to as 5S. A full description of the skills, knowledge and behaviour requirements are provided in the standard.

Minimum duration to gateway: 14 months (this does not include EPA period)
Maximum funding: £6000
