Qualitrain awarded highest category rating in Ofsted report

Qualitrain Awarded "Significant Progress"

Qualitrain are pleased to confirm that, following our recent Progress Monitoring Visit (PMV), we have been awarded the highest status of Significant Progress from Ofsted.

The report identified that our leaders have made significant progress in ensuring that staff teach a curriculum and provide support to meet learners’ needs, including the provision of remote & online learning, since our last PMV in 2018.

Referring to the delivery method changing to online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic, the report states “Managers have acted quickly to support apprentices who have found online learning to be challenging. A few apprentices have found it difficult to read from a screen or to complete calculations when online. Trainers allow extra time and provide additional one-to-one help for those apprentices who need it”. Our learners needs and the quality of support they receive from us, continues to remain our number one priority.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the inspection was carried out remotely on the 10^th & 11^th March 2021.
