Operations Administration Assistant Apprentice Vacancy
Due to strong growth Qualitrain are looking to expand our Operations team with a newly created apprentice role. Qualitrain are a leading independent training provider with 17 years of experience. We will train the apprentice on all the areas of our operations team and offer the chance for progression through the various areas of our business.

What will the apprentice be doing?
As an Administration Apprentice, you will need to:
- Provide administration support to the Scheduling Manager and Operations Director
- Update resource management systems with project information and updates to project plans
- Work with Operations Management Team to gain information required to complete tasks
- Chase key documentation from learners and employers
- Deal with enquiries (phone and email) and ensure they are dealt with efficiently. Refer complex, difficult or legal queries to the Scheduling Manager or relevant expert
- Maintain and use office systems effectively and update learner/client details within Learner Management System
- Print and collate learner materials for commercial courses and apprenticeship
- Add learner accounts to relevant systems (MS365 / BKSB)
- Liaise with students and employers where required
- Keep tutor resources logged and available on request
- Comply with ESFA, Ofsted and internal policies as appropriate
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will receive the following training and qualifications
- Level 3 (A Level equivalent) Business Administrator apprenticeship
- Training will be based on site at our Pride Park offices in Derby
- Training will be delivered 2 days per month by our own training staff
- The apprentice will be offered the chance to develop themselves in other areas of our operation like Business Improvements.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Qualitrain are a growing organisation with an average of 25% growth year on year. We promote from within and always reward effort from our staff with promotion and bonuses wherever possible. The Administration apprenticeship is a new role created in part by a promotion from within our organisation. We have many areas within our business for staff to grown and develop into.
Qualitrain are looking at a 75% growth from last year and are one of the most successful training providers in our sector. We have recently established a new Engineering Academy in Alfreton and we are looking at other areas of growth. We invest our profits back into the business to make it stronger to best support our customers and our staff. We are a Lean organisation which means we have a flat management structure with our CEO and MD in regular contact with all of our staff to support, coach and mentor them to help them develop.

Things to consider
Qualitrain may require the apprentice to travel occasionally to our Alfreton site so own transport would be an advantage.
