This qualification equips apprentices with advanced technical skills to maintain, repair, and optimise complex automated equipment across multiple engineering disciplines. The programme develops expertise in electrical, electronic, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems within high-value manufacturing environments.
This apprenticeship is designed for those working in or aspiring to technical maintenance roles who want to develop comprehensive multi-disciplinary engineering skills to ensure plant and equipment perform to required safety, quality, delivery, and cost standards.
Typically this apprenticeship will take 42 months.
On completion, apprentices will achieve a Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and can progress towards professional recognition with the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) or Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) for Engineering Technician status.
Qualitrain has delivered hundreds of engineering and maintenance qualifications within many different organisations and industrial sectors, including automotive, aerospace, logistics, and advanced manufacturing.
