Each of our customers are assigned their own dedicated contract manager to support their individual needs and requirements. Our contract managers offer guidance and support to ensure that compliance is continuously maintained. Sharing best practice allows for us to promote continual improvement for all of our clients.
Our team are able to provide guidance on other subject areas; Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (RoATP), Tender Applications and support for Ofsted and the Education Inspection Framework.
The Leadership Team
Alan Bates
Alan is an experienced senior executive with particular expertise gained within the training industry. Trained at Derby University Alan holds a Master’s Degree in Advanced Manufacturing Techniques. He has valuable experience in the implementation of Lean and Six Sigma practices and has created hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of savings for manufacturing businesses and provides a valuable source of knowledge to Qualitrain Education Compliance Associates. Alan also has specific senior management experience within the training industry where he has been involved as a Quality Director for over ten years.
Alan’s success draws on a strongly analytical approach and a deep understanding of control, efficiency, and quality improvement systems. He has managed the acquisition and integration of other businesses, and, following close analysis of supply chains, created valuable problem-solving initiatives which have vastly improved the efficient throughput of goods.
His ability to create successful quality management systems and robust auditing techniques have come from many years dealing with awarding organisations, the ESFA, Ofsted, guiding Qualitrain to achieve a level 2 Good Rating. Alan is also key in managing the Groups End Point Assessment activities and building the Ofqual systems that support their success.
Claire Lewis
Our well-established team is led by Claire Lewis, who holds over 13 years of experience within Government funded training.
In addition to leading the team, Claire is also the Safeguarding Officer for Qualitrain Group, supported closely by Safeguarding Deputy, Leah Murden.
Claire is supported by a highly trained and experienced team who collaborate closely with our clients to support ESFA compliance.
Leah Murden
Leah has over 10 years of experience working within the Government funded training industry, within both Apprenticeship and Adult Education funding. Her main area of expertise is based around ESFA funding requirements and compliance. Leah’s role at Qualitrain is to offer data management and main provider support services to a wide range of Training Providers and Freelance Trainers. “As a dedicated Partnerships Manager, my services include providing ESFA contract and compliance advice to our clients and supporting the administration team with the upload and reporting of learner data to the ESFA.”
