The entire Qualitrain team recently descended on Derby to attend a day-long Standardisation meeting. The meeting had been organised by Qualitrain’s internal quality team to ensure a consistent approach across all its training activities throughout the UK.
“It is increasingly important,” said Quality Director Alan Bates, “as our business grows and the regulatory landscape changes, that our people are able to offer client companies and individual learners a consistent experience wherever they are and whatever qualification they are following.
“The world of training, especially since the launch of the Apprenticeship Levy, has become increasingly complex. The Qualitrain team wants to be certain that it continues to offer the very best training support and, of course, meets the latest administrative requirements. This sort of exercise is therefore vital, and also provides a welcome opportunity to have all our colleagues together to exchange ideas and best practice.”
Qualitrain now proudly ensure that a Standardisation meeting is held with all staff at least once a year.
In addition to ensuring our training delivery remains consistent and to the highest standard, these meetings also provides an opportunity for staff to network and build strong relationships internally.
The most recent of these meetings took place virtually in light of the restrictions at the time. Qualitrain CEO, Richard Bates, said of the event “We had a great company information meeting recently. It was wonderful to see everyone’s faces again after being locked down for such a long time. It’s very encouraging to see the whole team is applying lean six-sigma practices to our business, especially within our Policy Deployment Process, Value Stream Mapping and even some newly introduced Statistical Process Control for monitoring customer and student feedback! The session was incredibly informative and we are so proud of what our team has become!”
We look forward to the next meeting.
