The IT & Communications industry is one of, if not the highest growing sectors in the UK today. In an ever increasingly digital world only accelerated by the covid-19 pandemic, a tenth of all UK job vacancies are now tech roles.1 This is why we are pleased to announce that Qualitrain now deliver the Level 3 Information Communication Technician Apprenticeship.
The ongoing covid-19 pandemic saw many companies very survival based on changing the way they operate and taking new aspects of the company online, almost instantaneously. The use of videoconferencing and collaboration software substantially increased, as businesses navigated their way through the remote working environment. Additionally, the demand for cloud storage and cloud-based software also rose, as businesses moved to increase their off-site capabilities.2 More workers skilled in IT & Communications are now needed to support this rapid development.
