HORIBA are looking for an individual to support with admin for both the Process and Continuous Improvement Lead and the Quality Manager, by undertaking day to day running’s of the Business improvement process. Monitor the in-house suggestions scheme by monitoring ideas, KPIS and creating reports.

What will the apprentice be doing?
Business Improvement duties include:
- Monitor the business improvement idea’s portal: updating KPIS, add ideas to portal and schedule meetings
- Keep owners informed with progress on decisions on business improvement ideas with up to date reports
- Liaison with key stakeholders including Business Improvement Champions, department managers, BlackJack project owners and the Business Improvement office in Japan.
- Additional administrative tasks including creating and submitting processing PO requests, send training invitations/ joining instructions & prepare certificates.
- Update and maintain Business Improvement information on SharePoint sites.
Quality department duties include:
- Assist the Quality Manager in Quality activities to support the Quality Management System
- Provide administration support including function including control of management system documents and records.
- Supporting the administration of non-conformances, complaints and audit process.
- Planning, minute taking and action status reporting for scheduled and ad hoc meetings.
- Support the QA function with document control, packing lists and calibration records.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The training will take place over Microsoft Teams through Qualitrain.
You will receive a Level 3 Improvement technician qualification.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
